Over the years we have experimented with many poultry breeds, not just chickens but ducks and guinea fowl. (Peacocks are on our wish list, but we might have to wait until retirement.) We have variously raised and bred many types for many purposes. In recent years, due to family and professional obligations, we have retrenched, directing our energies at a small number of breeds: Black Marsh Daisy, Cream Legbar, Ayam Cemani, Pumpkin Hulsey, and a Super Secret Experiment.
At the right are links to many varieties of chick, most of which we no longer breed. We have not, however, removed these pages, as they contain observations that might be useful to other poultry fanciers.
